Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie

                                                        1 9-inch baked pie shell
                                                        1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
                                                        2 tbs. sugar
                                                        3 tbs. light cream
                                                        2 cups fresh strawberries,
                                                           mashed and undrained

2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbs. cornstarch
1 cup whipping cream

Blend cheese, sugar and cream in small bowl. Spread evenly in bottom of pie shell. in sauce pan combine strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture is thick and clear. Pour over cream cheese in pie shell. Chill. Garnish with whipped cream and whole strawberries.
