Strawberry Pie

                                                        1 baked pie shell
                                                        (or grahm cracker crust)
                                                        4 cups sliced strawberries
                                                        3/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
1 - 3 oz. pkg raspberry jello
(or strawberry)

Combine 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil and stir until thick and clear. Add one 3oz. package of jello. Cool slightly. Put the 4 cups sliced strawberries in baked pie shell. Pour the cooled jello mixture over strawberries and refrigerate at least 3 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
